What is hair cycle?
The lifespan of hair is about 5 years, and it has a short catagen phase of about 3 weeks when growth gradually stops.
It has a resting period of about 3 months, remaining on the skin until it stops growing and falls out.
When telogen hair falls out, new growth hair grows in its place, and this cycle repeats itself in the hair cycle.
Hair grows at an average of 1 cm per month, and there are an average of 50,000 to 70,000 hairs on the human scalp.
What is hair loss?
Hair loss refers to the absence of hair in areas where hair should normally exist.
It is normal for approximately 50 to 70 hairs to fall out per day.
However, if more than 100 hairs fall out when you wake up or wash your hair, it is considered hair loss. There are various causes.
Typical causes include severe physical and mental stress such as nutritional deficiencies, drug use, childbirth, fever, and surgery.

HKTC-HG-CM stands for HanKook Terracare Hair Growth Conditioned Media, which contains various growth factors related to hair growth, hair follicle formation, wound healing, and scalp health secreted by dermal papilla cells using the 3D culture method being developed by the company.
This is a conditioned media being developed using dermal papilla cells, which grow in three-dimensional clusters within the hair follicles, and various biodegradable polymers that can act as ECM in order to mimic the environment within the hair follicles and scalp in vitro as much as possible.
Because it contains a large amount of substances useful for the skin, it can be used as a raw material for cosmetic products that can be used for skin, hair, and body care, and can also be expected to be used as an inflammatory skin ointment.
